Relief for Taxpayers for the 2022 Filing Season

In a recent letter to the Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS),  several organizations have requested changes in regards to resolutions, penalties and waivers during the 2022 tax season due to the delays caused by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 pandemic and the inability of the IRS to provide the proper amount of service and enforcement.
